Meet your instructor
Christie Wang
With over 12 years of experience teaching both Mat and Apparatus classical Pilates, Christie is an expert in her field. She is a 4th generation classical instructor comprehensively trained by Julie Erickson of Endurance Pilates and Yoga, and a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. Christie takes regular lessons and workshops with Katie Yip. She has taken workshops with Kathi Ross-Nash, Chris Robinson, Bob Liekins, and Nicole Alvarez-Smith.
She specializes in working with โeveryday movers.โ These are your movers and athletes who are dedicated to fitness and wellness, who train for life. As a trail ultra runner + marathon runner herself, she is known for her tough but encouraging group classes, her challenging private sessions, and her infectious love for fitness that she shares with all around her. She has had the honor of working closely with Olympians, competitive athletes, and A-List celebrities.
Christie practices what she preaches as she strives to achieve a balanced, healthy lifestyle that incorporates her own personal Pilates practice, trail running, and weight lifting. When sheโs not at the studio, you can find Christie at the beach with a good book or out in the mountains.
